Hours: 

• Monday-Thursday 8:00am- 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am- 12:00pm 

Essential Functions:

• Assist the Doctors in non-surgical procedures 
• Prepare the procedure room for procedures 
• Ensure procedure equipment is functioning 
• Prepare sterile supplies and instruments 
• Maintain patient confidentiality, HIPAA and OSHA compliance 
• Check patient charts, take patient vitals, and engage in conversations with the patient to comfort them during the procedure 
• Anticipate the needs of the procedure team, passing instruments and supplies using sterile technique 
• Assist in applying wrapping, measuring and putting on compression stockings, assist with patient transfer, cleaning the procedure room, throwing away trash, and/or disinfecting and preparing instruments for sterilization. 
• Assist with telephone inquiries for pre/post procedure patient care questions or concerns 
• Adheres to policies/procedures of organization 
• Ability to maintain regular attendance is an essential function 
• Attend meetings as required Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Successful Candidates Should Possess:

• High-School Diploma with additional certifications and/ or medical experience 
• Customer service skills, empathetic 
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team player 
• Current CPR Certification or ability to obtain 
• Punctuality, Reliability and Honesty 
• Broad medical experience with emphasis in direct patient care 
• Medical terminology knowledge 
• Attention to detail 
• Ability to maintain composure when confronted with fast-paced/stressful situation 
• Positive, pleasant attitude, neat appearance and flexibility 
• Good organization/time management skills 
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing 
• Self-starter 
• Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task
