Process Control Engineer

JOB TITLE:    Process Control Engineer        
LOCATION:    Decatur, IL
ON SITE/HYBRID/REMOTE:    On site
SALARY:    $55,000-60,000/year + benefits

JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:
-    Analyze part cost, volume, and consuming facility data to formulate sourcing strategies.
-    Work with global buyers to issue Request for Quotes to suppliers and track status of responses. 
-    Organize global quote data to assist in supplier selection.
-    Lead cross functional team to execute sourcing projects with new suppliers.  This includes leading the APQP process.  Managing completion of sourcing tasks for cross functional team members and preparing sourcing stakeholder review presentations using a standardized template.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Support Senior Engineer by analyzing cost and supplier data.
•    Analyze cost & supplier performance data to formulate a sourcing strategy.
•    Lead cross-functional projects to implement new part suppliers. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
•    BS in Engineering
•    Project Leadership experience
•    Will accept new grads
  

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
•    Proficient in Excel
•    Demonstrated critical thinking

•    Cross-functional experience / exposure in manufacturing, product cost, or supplier development.
