In this position, you\u0027ll have the opportunity to collaborate with process engineering, IT, equipment automation, data engineering, and data science teams to develop and deliver high quality control strategies and sophisticated methods of variation prediction, identification, and reduction.\n\nSpecifically, we need someone to craft models and systems solutions to predict and control future process variation with an end goal of efficiency, process variation reduction and yield improvement. You will collaborate with a global community of control engineers to share best known methods and ensure global alignment.\n\nAre you curious and enjoy continually learning? Come join our team of dedicated engineers!\n\n## Responsibilities include, but not limited to:\n\n * Design and implement solutions to reduce process variation and develop systems that automate or simplify process control tasks\n * Identify process requirements to design and deliver decision logic\n * Write scripts to extract, shape and filter data for analysis to develop predictive and control models\n * Proficiency in one or more scripting/web development languages a plus (e.g. JMP, Python, Java, JS, TS)\n * Extracting data from different databases via SQL and other query languages and apply data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing data techniques\n * Establish and maintain effective relationships\n * Organize tasks for maximum efficiency, incorporating department priorities\n * Coordinate and thoughtfully facilitate meetings and project teams\n * Communicate complex analysis in a succinct and impactful manner\n\n\n\n## You have the following Qualifications:\n\n * Demonstrate a strong understanding of Statistical Process Control\n * Excellent multi-tasking, time-management, organization and prioritization skills to plan, drive and complete projects optimally\n * Critical thinking and problem solving skills\n * Strong written and verbal communication skills\n * Detailed oriented and able to follow sophisticated procedures\n * Identify, develop, propose, and implement effective plans to improve overall efficiency\n * The willingness to travel (maybe required at times)\n * Ability to evolve skills via internal and external education opportunities\n * Experience in software testing/verification is a plus\n * General knowledge of semiconductor processes and tools\n\n\n\n## Education and Experience:\n\nA BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field, or an equivalent Micron job standing of Engineer or higher is required.\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nSemiconductor Process Engineer 3\n\nRelocation Level: TBD\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
