Process Control maintains quality aspects of production. This role works closely with department supervisors, other department leads and processing team members, in order to accomplish accuracy within the processing department and to ensure that our customers receive quality products.

Essential Functions:

• Take and record oil temperatures in all fryers hourly; report any variances to supervisor and/ or lead person.
• Monitor and record fill rate on all fryers hourly.
• Check hourly for cookout on corndogs and all fryers.
• Cut ten franks each from the retail and bulk line and check for air voids in the franks each hour.
• Monitor and record B grade product hourly and report any regularities to the supervisor and/or lead person.
• Compare color of the product on all fryers hourly to the color chard provided by QA; report any variations of color to the supervisor and/ or lead person.
• Perform other checks as deemed necessary by supervision.
• Don proper Personal Proctective Equipment.
• Help maintain and improve quality and food safety, to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.
• Must work in safe manner.
• Other duties, as assigned.

• High school diploma
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend English. 
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must be able to cross train for the fryer operator and fill in if needed.
• Must wear required personal protective equipment and clothing.
• Must follow company GMP and Food Safety procedure.
• Must follow company attendance policies and procedures.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
• Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check.
