Process Development Engineer II – Diaper Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities
Design, optimize, and implement manufacturing process improvements.
Develop and implement technology-driven solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency, scalability, and automation.
Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for productivity, quality, cost, and reliability improvements.
Lead cross-functional teams through problem definition, technical design, implementation, and validation.
Troubleshoot mechanical and process-related issues on high-speed manufacturing equipment.
Investigate equipment failures, operational risks, process issues, and production escalations.
Perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Develop and prioritize process and technology improvement roadmaps.
Design automated workflows and solutions to reduce manual processes and improve productivity.
Analyze manufacturing and operational data to support engineering decisions.
Provide technical guidance and training to engineers, analysts, technicians, and operations teams.
Support production teams in resolving technical and process escalations.
Identify gaps in manufacturing processes, technology, and operational systems.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
Develop and implement solutions that improve safety, quality, efficiency, reliability, and overall equipment performance.
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, process development, or manufacturing engineering.
Hands-on experience with diaper manufacturing is strongly preferred/required.
Experience in high-speed consumer products, personal care, hygiene products, or similar manufacturing environments.
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
Experience diagnosing and resolving manufacturing equipment/process issues.
Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience implementing process improvements, automation, or manufacturing efficiency initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Data-driven approach to identifying and resolving manufacturing problems.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.
Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
Ability to work 100% onsite in Jackson, MO.
