Lead Advanced Control and Optimization Engineer - Refining and Chemical Industry
Your New Role:
Dive into the forefront of process optimization as the go-to project leader for Advanced Control and Optimization initiatives. You'll wield your expertise as a technical maestro, guiding Process/Project Engineering and Operations through the labyrinth of complex process control systems. Your mission: to catapult unit performance and profitability into new heights by mastering the art of process operation control and optimization.
What You'll Do:
Elevate Advanced Process Control (APC) technologies, ensuring their relentless advancement and unwavering performance.
Provide sage advice on intricate process control systems, covering everything from design and troubleshooting to fine-tuning control loops and instruments.
Spearhead the deployment and upkeep of essential hardware and software across DCS, MVC, SIS, and PLC platforms, ensuring safety and control are in perfect harmony.

Requirements
What You Bring to the Table:
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Process Control or Chemical Engineering paired with at least 3 years of process control or akin experience in the refining/chemical sphere. Alternatively, 8 years of control board/Operations leadership experience can stand in for the degree.
A knack for advanced computing, with any experience in modeling, multivariable control, and DeltaV configuration seen as a significant bonus.
A versatile skill set in process control, including DCS and PLC configuration, multivariable control, and instrument tuning.
Exceptional communication skills, autonomy, and a customer-centric outlook, combined with the ability to thrive in a team environment.
A valid driver's license and the ability to secure a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) as mandated by the Maritime Transportation Security Act.
