In this role, you\u0027ll use your technical skills and passion for innovation to support the integration of acquired companies through remediation of validation and verification activities to meet external regulations and Boston Scientific\u0027s standards, as required. This position involves cross-functional collaboration to design and commercialize advanced technology, supporting acquisitions and integrations across Boston Scientific\u2019s global plant network. \n\n \n\nAt Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three (3) days per week. \n\n \n\nBoston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time.\n\n \n\nBoston Scientific was recognized by Forbes as one of the Best Workplaces for Engineers in 2026, reflecting a culture where engineers do meaningful work.\n\n \n\nBoston Scientific was also recognized as a Glassdoor Best Place to Work in 2026, ranking No. 15 on the Top 100 list, reflecting the culture our employees experience every day.\n\n \n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\n \n\n * Assess process capabilities, prioritize process improvement opportunities, and implement process improvements\n * Lead and execute validation and process characterization activities (TMV, PC, OQ/PQ) to support production readiness and business objectives\n * Own/contribute to technical reports, validations, and qualifications\n * Partner with the Production \u0026 Process Controls (P\u0026PC) Lead to define implementation strategies and supporting deliverables, including MVPs, PRAs, MIs, Integration PCAs, and training plans\n * Develop, review, and approve technical documentation, protocols, and reports to ensure compliance with the Boston Scientific Quality System and regulatory requirements\n * Prepare and present technical data and recommendations for technical and business reviews\n * Partner cross-functionally to develop design specifications, test methods, and material selection\n * Technical problem solving and risk identification in both planned and unplanned scenarios\n * Train, mentor, and support acquired\u2011entity employees and leadership in the adoption and effective use of Boston Scientific systems and procedures\n\n\n\n \n\nRequired qualifications:\n\n \n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering or related science discipline\n * Minimum of two (2) years of professional engineering experience relevant to this role\n * Demonstrated engineering fundamentals (LEAN , DFM, etc.) and problem-solving skills\n * Demonstrated cross functional teamwork in a technically demanding environment\n * Strong written and verbal communication skills\n * Ability to travel up to 30%, domestic and international\n\n\n\n \nPreferred qualifications:\n\n \n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree (or higher) in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering\n * Familiarity with business software systems, their interactions, and their requirements\n * Ability to operate comfortably in \u201cthe grey,\u201d leading through ambiguity, biased toward listening to others to seek to understand first\n * Prior experience in medical device industry or similar highly-regulated industry\n * Prior experience supporting acquisitions and integrations\n * Demonstrated use of Design for Six Sigma tools (Design of Experiments, problem solving)\n * Experience in New Product Development\n * Experience developing and characterizing various types of processes\n * Ability to schedule out timelines with specific milestones to achieve and demonstrate success \n\n\n\n \n\nRequisition ID: 626597\n\nMinimum Salary: $ 71500\n\nMaximum Salary: $ 135800\n\nThe anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) \u2013 see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com\u2014will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
