Process Engineer Intern
for a leading automotive parts manufacture located in Clover, SC. Position has flexible hours and starts at $17/hr.

Currently pursuing or recently completed a 4-year Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Eager to learn and apply new knowledge in a practical setting.
Understanding of IATF 16949 standards preferred.
What Your Role Will Look Like:
The Process Engineer Intern will be responsible for Assist in defining safety standards and productivity standards for new or existing manufacturing processes
Process Owner to drive process improvements, improved quality, and lower cost of manufacture
Process capability to analyze 'Best Practice' and implement at all levels
IATF 16494 understanding preferred.
Machine design, continuous improvement and /or re-design
Assist in establishing quality standard and procedures for new and existing manufacturing processes
Participate in interdisciplinary teams to define continuous improvement strategies for manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements or to enhance product quality or manufacturing productivity including but not limited to Applications Engineering and Quality Engineering departments
Assist in the creation or modification of employee training
On-The-Job Training & Technical Knowledge:
Mechanical Design : Gain experience in designing mechanical systems and components.
Hydraulics/Pneumatics : Learn about the principles and applications of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Electrical Expertise : Develop skills in electrical systems, including PLC programming and interfacing, controls, and ladder logic programming.
New Product/Process Development : Participate in the development of new products and processes.
Material Handling Systems : Understand the design and optimization of material handling systems.
Heat Transfer:
Study the principles of heat transfer and their application in manufacturing.
Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA): Learn to apply these methodologies to improve process quality and reliability.
Vision Systems : Gain knowledge in the use of vision systems for quality control and automation.
Robotic/Process Automation Technologies : Explore the integration of robotic systems and automation technologies in manufacturing.
LabView/SolidWorks : Develop proficiency in these software tools for process simulation and design.
