Process Engineering Manager

The ideal candidate will develop to become the next plant manager.

What You’ll Do 

• Accountable for operational excellence, process engineering, lab, and EHS at all East Texas locations

• Lead process engineering scopes from concept and modeling validation, through procurement, engineering, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and ramp 

• Lead selected commissioning activities of new sites

• Work in cross functional teams with engineering, operations, maintenance, and software functions.

• Build first-principles-based models of chemical unit operations to validate and scale-up designs  

• Identify, evaluate, and implement engineering solutions to optimize processes, confirming functionality and performance under various operating conditions.

• Work closely with the software and machine learning teams to automate capital project and refinery execution workflows

What You’ll Bring 

• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and demonstrated ability to leverage the understanding to solve challenging problems  

• Experience with process engineering and design. Including but not limited to: 

• Evaluation and optimization of operating equipment 

• Commissioning experience of new equipment and processes

• Experience with the following industries and/or production environments: 

• Large-scale mining or mineral processing 

• Large-scale chemical production processes
