Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

: Ensure the safe and cost-effective operation of the CIC plant and leach pads, directing plant operators and scheduling activities to meet production targets.

Problem Solving

: Identify and troubleshoot process issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Team Development

: Provide training, regular feedback, and development opportunities for team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Collaboration

: Maintain effective relationships with other departments, including Mining, Safety, Environmental, and HR.

Process Improvement

: Develop and implement new practices and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Resource Management

: Coordinate the needs for supplies, maintenance, equipment, and personnel.

Safety Oversight

: Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections, ensuring compliance with MSHA and OSHA regulations.

Performance Tracking

: Manage and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)

Compensation and Benefits:

Annual salary

: $96,200 - $100,900

Schedule

: 4/10

Qualifications:

Education

: High School Diploma or GED; a BS in Chemistry/Metallurgy or relevant experience is preferred.

Experience

: Minimum of 5 years in gold ore processing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Specific Requirement

: Experience with plant-heap leach operations is essential.
