Job Description - Process Support Engineer, New College Grad - BS or MS (Boise, ID)
As a Process Support Engineer (PSE), you'll play a key role in guiding products through the entire lifecycle, from initial concept to final qualification. As a PSE, you will optimize product recipes to ensure peak performance tailored to our customer's needs. You will collaborate with our globally recognized R&D teams and work directly with customers in their fabrication facilities to create cutting-edge solutions. Process Support Engineers work across technologies such as: Chemical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Layer Deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal and Implant. Provide high visibility customer support through the performance of on-site installations, system diagnoses, and the service and repair of complex systems and equipment Working closely with the customer to develop leading-edge processes used to manufacture the most-advanced semiconductor chips, many of which are inside everyday electronic devices Design both hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE), analyze data with statistics and compile reports with high level conclusions on technically challenging process engineering experiments Troubleshoot a variety of complex problems, perform multiple root cause analysis, and resolve a variety of difficult process engineering and customer product issues Communicate with both internal stakeholders and the customer to achieve goals with a focus on building relationships and establishing trust Graduating with a Bachelor's or Master's in Materials, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field Good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale Willing to relocate to an account location following graduation from the program Strong interpersonal collaboration and communication skills, with an emphasis on building trust Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, effectively prioritize per business requirements Exercise good judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information Communicate difficult or sensitive information, working to build consensus Ability to solve problems creatively and analytically Flexible and adaptable mindset Thrive in a results-driven culture
