### Role Summary\n\n### A Process Technician (PT) is a critical lab and manufacturing support role that works closely with Process Engineers to execute experiments, run process tools, and ensure high\u2011quality, repeatable results. Process Technicians enable engineers to focus on process development by owning tool operation, wafer handling, experiment execution, and first\u2011level troubleshooting.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n\nProcess \u0026 Experiment Execution\n\n * Execute process experiments defined by Process Engineers using lab systems such as Process Tech Requests (PTR) or Lab MES.\n * Follow defined travelers, recipes, and step\u2011by\u2011step experiment instructions to run wafers through tools and metrology flows.\n * Move wafers or FOUPs between locations and tools as required for experiments.\n\n\n\nTool Operation \u0026 Lab Support\n\n * Operate semiconductor lab tools (e.g., etch, deposition, metrology, FIB, SEM depending on assignment).\n * Perform sample preparation techniques prior to tool loading when required.\n * Monitor tool status, process progress, and experiment completion.\n\n\n\nQuality, Documentation \u0026 Communication\n\n * Ensure experiments are executed accurately, safely, and according to documented requirements.\n * Update request status (New, In Progress, Delayed, On Hold, Completed) and provide justifications when needed.\n * Communicate clearly with Process Engineers regarding issues, delays, or required clarifications.\n\n\n\nTroubleshooting \u0026 Continuous Support\n\n * Identify basic tool or process issues and escalate appropriately.\n * Work with vendors or engineering teams to support troubleshooting and equipment recovery.\n * Support improved turnaround time and lab efficiency while maintaining quality standards.\n\n\n\nCollaboration \u0026 Lab Operations\n\n * Partner closely with Process Engineers to enable successful product and process development.\n * Coordinate with metrology operators and other lab personnel to complete experiment flows.\n * Contribute to a collaborative lab environment with strong internal customer focus.\n\n\n\n### Required Skills \u0026 Qualifications\n\n * Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent hands\u2011on experience in semiconductor manufacturing, lab operations, or engineering support.\n * Comfort working with lab tools, wafers, FOUPs, and structured procedures.\n * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented instructions precisely.\n * Good written and verbal communication skills for engineer and team interaction.\n * Ability to work in cleanroom or lab environments and follow safety protocols.\n\n\n\n### Preferred Skills\n\n * Prior experience as a Process Technician, Manufacturing Technician, or Lab Technician.\n * Familiarity with MES, PTR systems, or lab workflow tools.\n * Experience supporting etch, deposition, or metrology tools.\n * Willingness to support shift\u2011based or flexible schedules depending on lab needs.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nTechnical Diploma\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n2 - 4 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\n10-Day 8-Hr (United States of America)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nNo\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nNo\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Standard)\n\nU.S. Salary Range:\n\n$25.00 - $34.70\n\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
