Processing Efficiency Manager

About the Role

NetVendor is seeking a detail-oriented and technically adept Processing Efficiency Manager to play a key role in modernizing our automated document processing workflows with the power of AI. This role requires deep knowledge of existing systems—particularly FlexiCapture—and hands-on experience with structured document formats like ACORD.

You'll serve as the bridge between legacy processes and a new, intelligent platform by defining user interface requirements, training AI models, writing test cases, and ensuring the solution delivers real-world business impact. You’ll collaborate closely with Product and Engineering, and QA teams to design, test, and roll out a future-forward AI-based document processing solution that’s intuitive for our internal operations team and scalable for the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Document Processing Expertise: Leverage extensive knowledge of current FlexiCapture document workflows to guide the architecture and migration strategy for our next-generation platform.


• AI Model Training: Apply experience with ACORD and other insurance/industry formats to teach AI models the patterns, fields, and data expectations required for accurate classifications/decisions and extraction.


• User Experience Definition: Define intuitive UX patterns for the new solution to ensure a seamless transition for document processors familiar with FlexiCapture, minimizing retraining and friction.


• Model Validation & Testing: Create detailed test procedures to validate AI output against expected results. Perform hands-on QA testing of the model and assist with model tuning.


• Success Metrics & Feedback Loop: Define and document success criteria for AI performance. Track and analyze test results to determine gaps or improvement opportunities and communicate findings to engineering teams.


• QA & Documentation: Perform quality assurance on AI-driven results and contribute to building robust documentation for both the internal QA team and end-users.


• Internal Training & Enablement: Write and maintain internal documentation on how to use the new platform and provide training sessions for internal teams to adopt the system effectively.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Operations leaders to ensure the AI solution aligns with business goals and operational needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in document processing workflows, with hands-on experience using ABBYY FlexiCapture.


• Familiarity with structured data formats like ACORD or similar insurance/document schemas.


• Proven experience in writing test cases and validating outcomes in QA environments.


• Strong analytical and communication skills to convey requirements, test results, and improvement plans.


• Ability to define intuitive UX interactions, especially for operational users transitioning from legacy systems.


• Experience working with AI/ML-enhanced tools is a plus, but not required.


• Knowledge of agile methodologies and SaaS product development processes is a plus.
