Processing Specialist

The Processing Specialist will be responsible for setting up business customers ancillary products and completing important back-end daily processes for the bank, while ensuring accuracy for branches and customers. A hard-working attitude is a plus in providing support to all of our customer-facing departments.

Essential Functions



  • Greet customers by phone and chat pleasantly and efficiently

  • Knowledge of Operations Processing duties and back-end set ups for Product Solutions

  • Originate wire transfers as well as administrative duties

  • Process incoming deposits via digital deposit and mobile capture channels

  • Serve as backup administrator for SCO system with the ability to create or re-set user information and run item queries

  • ACH/IAT returns, prenotifications, and monitoring

  • Positive Pay set up and support

  • Maintain assigned work hours

  • Work with others in a team environment

  • Demonstrates knowledge of all accounts, products, and services offered

  • Stays current on rates for CDs, savings, IRA and interest-bearing checking accounts

  • Assists manager with miscellaneous office support as needed and when time allows

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • The ability to prioritize and make on-the-spot decisions regarding customer transactions, weighing customer satisfaction issues with bank exposure to loss or fraud

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Mathematical skills

  • In-depth knowledge of our bank products and services

  • Work well under pressure and in past-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills

  • High degree of accuracy

  • Detailed and organized

  • Maintain confidentiality at all times

  • Maintain a positive attitude towards your team and customers

  • Driven to succeed and open minded to learn more about new technology within our industry

  • Accurate typing skills, including the use of work processing, spreadsheet software applications and email



Education



  • High School Diploma or GED required, college preferred

  • 2 years of banking required
