Responsibilities
- Coordinate supplier onboarding, including documentation collection and system setup
- Act as a liaison between supply chain teams and suppliers to support day-to-day procurement activities
- Create, key, and maintain purchase orders in the procurement system
- Track purchase orders and assist with issue resolution related to discrepancies, delivery issues, and invoicing
- Provide office and administrative support including filing, document management, and meeting scheduling
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Compliance & Administration: Review procurement-related transactions, maintain records, and ensure adherence to company policies and applicable safety standards
- Respond to internal and external inquiries with a strong customer service focus
- Support general procurement and supply chain administrative functions
- Perform other standard procurement coordinator duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and software; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to the handling and storage of hazardous materials.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.
Physical Demands
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods, up to 12 hours per day
- Frequently lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs, including up and down stairs
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
- Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and overhead work involving components of varying size and weight
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per day, including on uneven terrain
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, and work in confined spaces for extended durations
- Ability to climb ladders, platforms, and other elevated structures while maintaining balance
- Ability to identify process issues and recognize safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing
