Procurement Intern

Pacific Seafood offers a unique, 12-week internship program that gives interns the chance to make an immediate impact on our company. Starting with a structured orientation week at our corporate headquarters near Portland, Ore, you’ll be able to meet the team and learn the full scope of our business. Throughout the summer months, you’ll dive deep into a meaningful project for our company, which you’ll then present to our executive leadership team at the end of your internship. This internship will provide a unique experience as the intern will be working closely with the Category Manager to gain an understanding of all aspects of procurement. You will assist category managers on the day-to-day Indirect Spend activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork).
• Provide excellent customer service to divisions as needed. 
• Act as liaison between suppliers and internal customers.
• Manage customer packaging information requests.
• Develop opportunities to buy in bulk and redistribute to divisions where relevant.
• Update and communicate surplus equipment catalogue.
• Place orders for packaging as needed.
• Assist with corporate travel management.
• Manage cellular plans for Pacific Seafood Group. Purchase new devices.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood

Preferred

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Experience or exposure to internal branding

Compensation:
