This role focuses on executing strategies for Raw Materials/Packaging suppliers for the Lifestyles Business Unit (LBU), ensuring alignment with business objectives such as Customer Service, Cost, Cash, Quality, Innovation, and Sustainability.
This position collaborates cross-functionally to ensure timely availability of raw/pack materials at LBU plants and select third-party manufacturers, while also supporting the implementation of innovation and new products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Lead regular reviews with suppliers, driving performance improvements and expanding/automating SRM processes.
Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Ensure adherence to SLAs through established routines and rituals.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure supplier compliance with LBU requirements.
Sourcing Strategies: Lead implementation of LBU Raw/Pack sourcing strategies.
Capacity Planning: Proactively assess supplier capacity and initiate improvements to enhance supply chain reliability and efficiency.
Innovation Partnership: Collaborate with LBU Innovation teams to support product launches and innovation initiatives.
Cross-functional Participation: Engage in various LBU forums to contribute insights and recommendations.
Material Availability: Ensure material availability at LBU plants and third-party manufacturers, meeting SCJ specifications.
Insights and Recommendations: Provide insights and recommendations to optimize sourcing strategies.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement process optimizations to minimize costs, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
SAP Maintenance: Ensure accurate maintenance of prices and other SAP parameters for LBU Raw/Pack suppliers.
Forecasting Support: Collaborate with planning teams to provide accurate forecasts to the supplier base as needed.
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods Industry
Proficiency in Project Management, Supplier Management, Manufacturing, and New Product Commercialization
Strong interpersonal communication, organization, and analytical skills
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interface with multiple levels of organizations
Familiarity with production/process technologies like Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, OEE, TPM, etc.
Strong Financial Acumen and Stakeholder Influencing Skills
Strategic thinking with the ability to build actionable plans
Capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
Proficiency in data analysis and decision-making
Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operation Management, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent military experience.
