Job Description - Procurement Manager
Lead the category management for large global categories: market intelligence, developing category strategy, and development of "go to market" strategies.
Establish strong, trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and assume full responsibility for meeting business needs by: interpreting spends, category planning, market knowledge, and development of souring strategies.
Support the development of sourcing and category work plans.
Negotiate the best overall commercial arrangements with suppliers.
Has responsibility for the development and evaluation of market strategies for global categories.
Achieve creative commercial outcomes through negotiation and planning.
Reports process against global sourcing goals to initiate change, coordinate supplier development strategies, always prove potential for improvement, and coordinate supplier development strategies.
