Requirements:
- Completion of post-secondary education (college, university, etc.).
- Minimum five years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Minimum five years of experience using an ERP system, with a preference for Seradex or similar systems.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and address supply chain risks through strategic planning and execution of risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage contracts with suppliers to ensure optimal terms and performance.
- Monitor key metrics and KPIs to drive cost reduction initiatives.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Analyze procurement data, generate reports, and conduct spend analysis.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Negotiate with vendors for favorable cost, delivery, and terms.
- Develop strategies for efficiency improvement, quality enhancement, and cost reduction.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with suppliers.
- Conduct periodic site visits to key supplier locations.
- Identify and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers.
