Procurement Officer

• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory to prevent shortages or overstocking
  
• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate and negotiate with reliable suppliers to ensure consistent product quality and timely delivery
  
• Compliance Assurance: Ensure procurement processes adhere to industry regulations, ethical standards and company policies
  
• Cost optimization: Implement strategies to reduce costs while maintaining product quality and supplier reliability
  
• Source and procure medical and pharmaceutical products from approved suppliers
  
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Supplies, Logistics or a related field
  
• 1 -3 years experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management, preferably within the healthcare, pharmaceutical or medical supplies industry
  
• Membership with a relevant professional body will be an added advantage
  
• Proven experience in procurement
  
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and inventory management systems
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
