Procurement Sepcialist

Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Specialist to support our growing team. In this role, youll source and purchase products and services in response to customer needs while maintaining strong supplier relationships and contributing to company profit goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Source products/services quickly and accurately to support customer requests
• Evaluate product specifications and recommend suitable options or alternatives
• Make purchasing decisions aligned with customer needs and supplier strategy
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers
• Proactively work with Sales teams to resolve issues and improve quote success rates
• Track and report on purchasing performance (quotes/day, cycle time, margins, etc.)
• Evaluate and communicate supplier performance and expectations
• Help achieve gross profit targets by managing costs, freight terms, lead times, and order volumes
• Maintain strong relationships with current suppliers and identify new vendor opportunities
• Provide product and sourcing support to internal teams

Qualifications (Required):

• 1+ year of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related field
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Strong customer service mindset
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
• Bachelors degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field
• CPSM or other relevant certification
• Experience with MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) product sourcing
