Procurement Specialist - Tampa, FL or St. Louis, MO Based

DGR Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Procurement Coordinator to support our purchasing operations. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of experience in procurement or complex ordering, particularly within fast-paced environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing communications with distributors, creating and coordinating purchase orders, and ensuring accuracy throughout the procurement process. 

This position may be based in either Tampa, FL or St. Louis, MO. Candidates in Tampa are expected to work primarily onsite, while those in St. Louis may work remotely. 

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with distributors and vendors to manage order placement and fulfillment 
• Create, review, and process purchase orders for complex purchases 
• Coordinate procurement activities across departments to ensure timely ordering and delivery 
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data 
• Monitor inventory levels and track shipments 
• Resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, or payments 
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures 
• Support vendor relationship management and assist in vendor evaluations 
• Assist with special projects as needed 

• 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy 
• Excellent organizational and communication skills 
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel 
• Experience with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining precision 
• Reliable and accountable with a strong work ethic 
• High emotional intelligence and ability to work collaboratively 
• Ability to work effectively within a remote environment and with remote team members
