Produce Clerk - Retail Service Team

• Prepare produce for stocking
  
• Ensure consistent, abundant presentation of produce displays by stocking product
• Interact with customers and team members daily, providing exceptional customer service
• Demonstrate product knowledge
• Cashier, bag, and carry out items for customers as needed
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly

• Verifiable work experience with excellent tenure and attendance
• Grocery store, convenience store, food service, or retail experience. Produce experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated retail customer service experience and skills
• Familiarity with organic and natural foods
• Attention to detail and ability to efficiently perform assigned tasks
• Ability to read and speak English and perform basic arithmetic

A Produce Clerk's tasks involve but are not limited to frequent and extended periods of time preparing and stocking produce, and frequent periods of time working in walk-in coolers.

This position requires evening and weekend availability, and may occasionally include opening, mid-shift, or closing shifts.

This is a part-time position requiring 20 to 28 hours worked weekly.

Starting Wage: $13

Negotiable based on experience
