Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic person to be our Produce Supervisor. As the Produce Supervisor, you will make sure that the store’s produce is always fresh and in good condition, Department is stocked, orders are done in a timely manner, and cooler is organized and clean. You will inspect the retail produce stand to ensure that it is fresh, clean and organized. The ideal candidate will have produce knowledge, ordering experience, can lift heavy boxes, perform physical tasks, and have excellent customer service skills. Weekends are a must.

Responsibilities

Monitor and replenish produce and other goods on display shelves throughout your shift.

Order produce that meets the demands of the department.

Rotate products and goods to keep the department fresh and in good standing

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting each guest with a smile and offer assistance

Be safety oriented by following all known safety procedures and utilizing good operational, loss prevention, and safety judgment at all times

Supervise staff in produce department

Qualifications

Previous work experience as a Produce Clerk or similar position is preferred but not required

High School Diploma or equivalent

Ability to read, count, write and communicate accurately in English.

Understanding of best practices in sales and customer service

Strong communication skills and an ability to work well in a team environment

Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift 50lbs

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
