Position Summary:
The Senior Producer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the show’s production, from concept development to final broadcast. This role requires a seasoned media professional with a deep understanding of conservative political discourse, strong editorial judgment, and the ability to produce high-quality, compelling content that resonates with our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be familiar with the Liz Wheeler Show, and corresponding social pages and audience to assess the best timing and topics to post.
• Lead the creative and editorial direction of the show, ensuring alignment with the network’s mission and audience expectations.
• Develop and execute show rundowns, scripts, and segments that are insightful, engaging, and newsworthy.
• Coordinate with a team of editors and researchers, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output.
• Collaborate closely with the host to shape the tone, messaging, and content of the program.
• Oversee live and taped segments, ensuring seamless production and high production values.
• Identify and book high-profile guests, experts, and commentators who contribute to thought-provoking discussions.
• Stay ahead of breaking news, political trends, and cultural topics to ensure the show remains timely and relevant.
• Work with technical teams on studio operations, graphics, and editing to enhance visual storytelling.
• Maintain strong editorial standards and fact-checking protocols to uphold credibility and audience trust.
• Manage the show's bi-weekly newsletter.
• Coordinate with marketing and social media teams to maximize show promotion and audience engagement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in television, digital media, or broadcast journalism, preferably in a political or news-oriented environment.
• Strong understanding of conservative media, political philosophy, and the current political landscape.
• Proven experience leading a production team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with live production, control room operations, and field production.
• Proficiency in newsroom software, video editing platforms, and digital content management.
• Strong booking skills with an extensive network of political commentators, policymakers, and influencers.
• Passion for conservative values and a commitment to producing content that informs, educates, and energizes the audience.

• Experience working with high-profile hosts and talent.
• Knowledge of digital streaming platforms and audience growth strategies.
• Background in investigative journalism or political campaign media.
