Product & Merchandising Coordinator

MeatEater, Inc. is seeking a highly-motivated person to join our team in Bozeman, Montana as a Product & Merchandising Coordinator. The position will support the execution and coordination of product planning, development, launches, merchandising initiatives for the MeatEater Store. This role partners closely with marketing, ecommerce, operations, and external vendors to help bring products and campaigns to market efficiently and accurately. This is a highly cross-functional role ideal for someone who is organized, operationally minded, and excited to grow within product, merchandising, and ecommerce.

Key Responsibilities

1)  Product Launch & Coordination

• Support product launches from concept through release
• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and communication across teams
• Lead vendor communication, packaging updates, and product readiness
• Help ensure launches stay on schedule and aligned with brand standards

2)  Ecommerce & Merchandising Support

• Support promotional setup and campaign execution
• Assist with assortment organization across owned, operated, and third-party brands
• Help maintain product accuracy, tagging, and collection structure

3)  Operational Support

• Coordinate with operations, supply chain, and external partners to support inventory flow and launch readiness
• Track product timelines, approvals, and status updates
• Help identify and resolve operational bottlenecks
• Maintain organization across multiple concurrent projects

4)  Product Development Support

• Assist with sourcing, sampling, and product development processes
• Support licensing product communication and negotiations
• Help manage product documentation and communication with vendors
• Support the rollout of new products and seasonal collections
• Participate in cross-functional planning discussions

Success Metrics

• Accurate and timely product launches that support revenue and margin goals
• Organized and consistent product setup across ecommerce systems to improve operational efficiency and reduce errors
• Strong cross-functional coordination with internal teams and external vendors to keep projects on track
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and drive effective project management and prioritization to ensure products and campaigns launch on time
• Strong execution across campaigns, merchandising updates, and onsite experiences that drive conversion and profitability

Required

• 1–3+ years in ecommerce, merchandising, product coordination, or related fields
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
• Preferred
• Experience in outdoor, lifestyle, or consumer goods industries
• Experience in consumable products
• Experience in licensing products
• Familiarity with product development or merchandising workflows
• Interest in hunting, fishing, cooking, or conservation
