Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Product and Relationship Manager to join our team in a client-facing role supporting U.S. Department of Defense Advana efforts. Our client is supporting the DOD under the Under-Secretary for Acquisition and Sustainment, Acquisition Data and Analytics Division as they utilize ADVANA, the primary DOD tool for data analytics to make data discoverable, understandable, and usable for advanced analytics. This role is hybrid with 2-3 days per week spent at the Pentagon and the rest working from home.
As a Product & Relationship Manager, you will be expected to.Lead a team tracking and accounting for items provided to allies currently engaged in conflict and the corresponding restocking for US military mission readiness. Specifically, the team is creating an application for the Military Departments (MILDEPs) to enter their financial and logistical information to be used in reporting within the DoD and to Congress.
- Managing the relationship and communication with Government clients.
- Managing project delivery, status, and reporting
- Monitoring the stakeholder environment (DoD, Congress) and adapting to changes and demands • Defining the product vision.
- Understanding and representing user needs
- Prioritizing product features and capabilities
- Facilitating collaboration across the team
- Maintaining the utmost project organization
- Maintaining clarity in communication and presentation to the client
- Interfacing with the client on project-specific issues and providing direction for the planning of all engagement tasks or sub-tasks.
Your background will include the following attributes and experience.- Minimum seven (7) years of experience in Consulting and the Product lifecycle
- Excellent interpersonal and client management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Highly skilled in rapport-building
- Strong critical thinking and analysis, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience as a team leader of at least 5 personnel. 10-20 preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience in DoD accounting, budget, acquisition, procurement, or similar preferred.
- Basic familiarity with DoD’s Advana technology with the ability and desire to learn
- Prior experience working with (or supporting) the U.S. Department of Defense is preferred.
- DoD Advana experience is desirable but not required.
- Proven ability to synthesize information quickly and share it succinctly and effectively
- Current DoD Secret Security Clearance required (Interim Clearance acceptable, but full Secret preferred).
