Job Summary

Responsible for providing estimation support of accessories for our Inside Sales Reps, Account Managers and Technical Sales Representatives to reduce turnaround time on getting quantity take-offs to meet customer pricing demands.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

• Performs preliminary lifting and bracing analysis to generate the relevant quantity take-off needed to Tilt-Up and precast jobs.

• Provides Inside Sales Reps, Account Managers and Technical Sales Representatives with any product related information on Tilt-Up and Precast projects.

• Coordinates with outsource vendors for estimation overflow and panel shop production.

• Partners with Administrative Assistant on estimation scheduling and lead-time determination.

• Provides updates on estimation volume to aid in prediction of future workflow.

• Improves estimation tools to increase efficiency.

Nature and Scope

• Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction. Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor. Deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor.

• Under close supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgment. Work typically involves detailed checks or close review of output by a senior coworker and/or supervisor.

• None.

Work Environment

• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Conditions could produce mild discomfort on occasion.

• Most of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking and/or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).

• Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.

Education and Experience

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer Associates Degree.

• Exposure to construction documents (Architectural and Structural building plans).

• AutoCAD experience.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
