The Opportunity
Were seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Patent Prosecution Associate or Mid-Level Patent Agent to join one of our esteemed clients Product Design & User Interface Patent Prosecution Practice Group. This position is open to multiple office locations, with a preference for Atlanta, Chicago, Washington, DC, Houston, Denver, Kansas City, Phoenix, or St. Louis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and make an impact in patent preparation and prosecution.

What You'll Do
Lead with Purpose: Prepare and prosecute patents for innovative software, AI, IOT, networking, and quantum technologies.
Analyze and Innovate: Leverage your technical expertise to draft high-quality patent applications and strategies.
Collaborate for Success: Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams, inventors, and clients to ensure successful patent outcomes.
Deliver Excellence: Apply your knowledge of physics, electrical engineering, and computer science to protect groundbreaking technologies.

What You Bring to the Table
Experience: 2+ years of patent preparation and prosecution experience.
Education: Degree in physics, electrical engineering, or computer science required.
Skills: Strong background in one or more of the following areas:

• Software-related technologies
• Artificial intelligence technologies
• IOT and networking technologies
• Quantum technologies
  Certifications:
• JD and admission to the USPTO required for associate candidates.
• USPTO admission required for patent agent candidates.
  Mindset: Detail-oriented, innovative, and collaborative with superb writing and communication skills.

Your Skillset
Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of relevant patent law and technical areas.
Patent Prosecution: Proven ability to draft and prosecute high-quality patent applications.
Legal Drafting: Mastery in preparing patent applications, claims, and office action responses.
Collaboration and Communication: Exceptional ability to engage with inventors, clients, and team members effectively.

Competitive Compensation:

• Associates: $240,000$290,000 based on experience.
• Patent Agents: $110,000$190,000 based on experience.
