Product Designer @ Melius
Melius is building the creative canvas for agents: a workspace where humans and agents generate, edit, and orchestrate images and video together. One canvas to direct AI systems end-to-end, instead of a dozen fragmented tools and prompts.
We're looking for a Product Designer to figure out what directing those systems should feel like, and to build out new verticals: mobile, product lines, whatever comes next.
Chat is a dead end for creative work, and traditional tools weren't built for collaborators that act on their own. How does a canvas make an agent's intent legible? How does someone redirect work mid-flight? How does a twenty-minute workflow across dozens of steps stay comprehensible?
You'd be our second designer. Most designs happen in Claude Design. We rarely open Figma. Surfaces are yours, from framing through pixel-level polish in production:
Design the interaction language for agents on a canvas: what they show, what they propose, where they are in a long task, how a user intervenes.
Invent interfaces past the prompt box: direct manipulation, node graphs, spatial editing, real-time multiplayer with humans and agents on the same canvas.
Take new verticals from zero, first concept through launch.
Prototype at whatever fidelity the question demands, from a rough generated pass to working code.
Talk to artists, studios, and brand teams, then turn what you hear into product decisions.
Looking for
Experience: 4+ years designing production software somewhere that shipped fast and changed direction often.
Surfaces: You're comfortable owning dense, complex interfaces: canvases, editors, timelines, node graphs.
Tool agnostic: comfortable designing with AI, or fast to pick it up new tools.
Design Fundamentals: Exceptional taste in interaction design, typography, and motion.
Deal with Ambiguity: Strong ownership and comfort in ambiguity.
