Product Developer - Knit/Jersey

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Product Responsible you play a key role in contributing towards securing best product from a customer perspective in connection with Global assortment strategy.

What is Production? It's the place where design ideas are transformed into actual products. We are in over 20 sourcing markets and are the direct point of contact for local suppliers. We work to ensure our products are of good quality and produced at the best price and in a sustainable way.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for people to …​

• Be responsible for product development, capability development and design insights to strengthen collection buying working with T1/T2 Suppliers
• Have ownership in securing product development flow and sample handling process, you seek further possibilities and opportunities in working on trends, directions, material/product missions in a global scope across production countries though based in Bangladesh in line with long term assortment strategy
• Work with the global teams you are responsible for co-executing the market development plan and supplier/product strategy on your product categories together with relevant stakeholders
• Have design/fashion trend, customer trend expert in the team and works closely with Assortments, PO Merchandising, rest functions, suppliers to deliver on elevated product focus
• Act as the customer eye and work proactively to educate suppliers with customer education
• Act as a product representative on the ground and play an important role in problem solving
• Promote and share sustainable innovations covering both components and processes such as 3D/VSR and similar from region

AND PEOPLE WHO HAVE:

• Academic background in Textile Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of Product/Designer experiences, preferably on Knit/Jersey Womenswear
• Experience on different tools and systems
• Clear T1 and T2 supplier understanding is key
• Extensive Customer and Product knowledge, along with a very good knowledge in Price, Material, Stuk, Experience in Component attributes, wash and print is preferred
• Creative, flexible, ambitious and business mindset
• Communication, collaboration, organizing and planning, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills; you work hand in hand with Global Hubs to co-execute the set strategies and activities
