We are seeking a dedicated Product Development Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities 60%: 

• Assists in gathering, updating, and maintaining high volume of data in Project Management (Asana & Monday) and Inventory Management platforms (NetSuite). 

• Ensuring SKUs, Product Names and MSRP are up-to-date and formatted correctly on NetSuite. 

• Assist with creating BOMs and maintaining them on NetSuite, eventually be able to create BOMs independently. 

• Assist with generating barcodes on GS1 and creating barcode labels.

Responsibilities 40%

• Partner with the Product Development Team on daily operations of the Product Development Department, including coordinating receiving samples. 

• Maintaining physical sample library, in Aprés Product Department. 

• Categorizing, displaying and clearly labeling samples received from overseas vendors. 

• Manage sample shipments to and from vendors. 

• Request and follow up on product samples requested from Production/Assembly or Warehouse 

Requirements

Requirements: 

• Highly responsible, serious and committed to meeting deadlines and seeing projects through to completion

• Detail-oriented and driven by deadlines and a high sense of urgency

• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, email, telephone) 

• Self-starter, capable of prioritizing and working while managing multiple projects simultaneously

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment 

• Strong interpersonal / teamwork skills, willing to listen and work efficiently as a team and independently as needed, but also flexible and adapt to change 

• Passion for the beauty industry, and understanding for Product Development and/or Production (packaging and cosmetics)

Pay Range:

$20- $26 per hour – depending on experience
