Product Development Manager

Travelzoo is seeking a Product Development Manager in our New York office.

• Motivated to lead and execute product strategies and roadmaps in collaboration with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation


• Committed to establishing and maintaining a scalable design system that enhances Travelzoo’s digital presence, while respecting brand standards and local market nuances


• Informed by competitive and industry research, integrating UI/UX best practices to keep Travelzoo on the cutting edge


• Transparent in producing regular status reports, keeping internal stakeholders informed on project milestones, deliverables, and emerging risks to ensure alignment and clarity


• Efficient in managing resources, timelines, and budgets to optimize quality and efficiency


• Collaborative in cultivating an innovative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and design thinking across teams

You are ideally...

• A seasoned professional with at least 6 years of relevant experience in digital project management or product development, ideally within a creative agency, advertising, marketing communications, or a related environment


• Expert in designing and delivering digital direct-to-consumer products, with a strong portfolio of impactful, design-driven work that emphasizes user engagement and seamless, member-focused experiences


• Adept at managing the full project lifecycle, from scoping and scheduling to resource allocation and delivery, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding timelines and budgets


• Proficient in using design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Protopie, with a solid foundation in user-centered design methodologies


• Highly skilled in stakeholder management and negotiation, capable of forging and nurturing effective partnerships with internal teams and key decision-makers across the organization.


• Adaptable in working with global or cross-functional teams, demonstrating effective collaboration across different time zones


• Entrepreneurial with a member-focused approach, able to identify new opportunities and drive strategic innovation within a fast-paced environment


• Degree-educated in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
