Product Development Manager - Urgent Hire

This role will focus on managing the PLUM product line. The Product Development Manager will be able to follow the product development from beginning to end. They will be able to build and lead a team to ensure the products meet business goals and customer needs. This requires dealing with factories, engineers and developers. Must have the ability to communicate properly with outside groups and manage each project; guiding all who are involved and bringing questions and challenges forward. Rational decision making is needed.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

· Market research

· Brainstorming and ideation

· Concept development

· Gathering information about customer needs.

· Asses the viability of new products

· Liaise directly with customers

· Monitor industry trends and manager the technical development of the product.

The Ideal candidate would have:

· Ideally 1-3 years of relevant work experience

· Advanced Excel skills and comfortable handling large amounts of data

· Experience with product development

· A great personality and ability to work well with others

Desired Skills and Abilities:

· Able to work independently

· Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the US

· Must be able to read, write and speak English

· Must pass a Background Check

Physical Requirements:

• Required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Must be able to up to 20lbs, sit and stand for extended periods of time, use stairs, reach, twist, bend, stretch, climb, and walk
