As a Product Engineer (Junior/Mid), you'll build AI-native product experiences across the worker marketplace, business platform, and internal operations systems. You'll work across frontend, backend, APIs, AI integrations, and infrastructure while owning meaningful product areas from concept through production.

What You'll Do

• Build and own product features across the worker app, business platform, and internal operations systems


• Apply frontier AI models and existing AI agents to automate staffing workflows including sourcing, vetting, matching, and fulfillment


• Build modern frontend experiences using React, React Native, and TypeScript


• Design and develop backend services, APIs, and distributed systems using Node.js, Python, and PostgreSQL


• Build AI-powered workflows that improve marketplace efficiency and customer outcomes


• Develop real-time matching systems, autonomous vetting pipelines, and marketplace infrastructure


• Partner closely with Product, Design, Operations, and Engineering teams to solve complex business problems


• Own product surfaces end-to-end from user experience through backend implementation and deployment


• Integrate LLMs and AI agents into real production workflows using prompting, tool wiring, and structured outputs


• Build scalable systems supporting workers, businesses, and operational teams


• Improve product reliability, performance, and user experience through rapid iteration


• Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering standards as the company scales


• Work closely with customers and operators to understand workflows and translate problems into software solutions

Ideal Candidate Background

Experience Requirements

• 1–5 years of software engineering experience


• Experience building and shipping products in early-stage or high-growth startup environments


• Experience owning features or products end-to-end from concept through production


• Experience building consumer, marketplace, SaaS, or AI-powered applications


• Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable business impact through engineering work


• Experience working in ambiguous environments with high ownership expectations


• Strong execution ability with a bias toward shipping quickly


• Exceptional new graduates with strong technical signals, internships, side projects, or top academic backgrounds considered

Technical Requirements

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, React, React Native, Node.js, and/or Python


• Experience building modern frontend applications with strong product and UX considerations


• Experience designing and building backend APIs and production services


• Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar databases


• Experience integrating LLMs, AI agents, or machine learning capabilities into products


• Understanding of AI workflows including prompting, tool integrations, and agent-based systems


• Experience building marketplace, recommendation, matching, or multi-sided platform systems preferred


• Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and production engineering practices


• Ability to work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers


• Experience building products for non-technical users preferred

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another technical field from a top university preferred
