Product Management V

Applied Materials is looking for a Product Manager who is a technical expert on semiconductor patterned wafer metrology, is the single point of contact for customer engagement, and owns development of metrology use-cases including timeline, delivery and customer feedback.\n\nThe candidate should have experience in semiconductor wafer manufacturing industry. Experience in patterned wafer metrology or inspection is preferred.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Lead full product PRD.\n * Identify marketing roadmap and future customer needs in order to provide correct product roadmap.\n\n * Identify need -Analysis, Develop and Transfer new application capabilities in the system envelope from product division to customer application support team.\n\n * Technically leads difficult, complex problem-solving solutions.\n\n * Defines customer technical requirements, through deep analysis and clear understanding of the product roadmap.\n\n * Key member in red team.\n\n * Generate patents.\n\n * Define new methodologies in order to optimized system performance for specific application.\n\n * Lead customer technical review meetings.\n\n * This technical staff position leads and/or develops and executes exceptionally complex technology and engineering projects and leads research and development of new technologies as appropriate.\n\n * Works on critical complex issues that impact longer term product development and business success measured by one or more of the following: incremental revenue growth, market share increases, key customer penetrations, time to market improvement and commercial value of the work.\n\n * Develop innovative solutions as part of proven track record of significant technology contributions.\n\n * Leads and collaborates to contribute to the development of new principles and concepts.\n\n * Guides less experienced engineers in utilizing techniques to define methods and new technologies and apply them on unusually complex systems.\n\n * Involved in judging the approach and verifying the validity of technical strategies.\n\n\n\n\nFunctional Knowledge\n\n * Regarded as the technical expert in detection flow in 2-3 particular field including broad view of customer needs and roadmap.\n * Demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function.\n\n\n\nBusiness Expertise\n\n * Anticipates business and regulatory issues; recommends product, process or service improvements.\n\n\n\nLeadership\n\n * Leads projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution.\n\n\n\nProblem Solving\n\n * Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business; requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions.\n\n\n\nImpact\n\n * Impacts the direction of product roadmap by in depth understanding of customer roadmap and product limitations.\n\n\n\nInterpersonal Skills\n\n * Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n10 - 15 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\n10-Day 8-Hr (United States of America)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 10% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nYes\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Standard)\n\nU.S. Salary Range:\n\n$163,000.00 - $224,000.00\n\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
