The Partner team within Business Technology is looking for a Product Manager to lead a team that supports Salesforce’s Partner Community and related technology solutions in service of Salesforce’s channel partner ecosystem! The products and capabilities our team builds help drive customer and partner success for Consulting, AppExchange/ISV, and Reseller partners.
The Product Manager is a problem solver who plays a pivotal role in the software delivery lifecycle by collaborating closely with end users, business stakeholders, developers, designers, architects, and more! This individual will seek to understand the needs of users and translate those needs into a desirable product. This person will use data and inputs from research to ensure your product achieves the desired outcomes. This Product Manager will be supporting the existing Partner Enablement learning management and credentialing tools that helps our partners grow their expertise and knowledge of Salesforce.
Responsibilities: Lead a scrum team through the product discovery and product delivery lifecycle of software development Define success metrics and deliver measurable outcomes for your end users and stakeholders Serve as a subject matter expert in your domain and deeply understand the needs of your users Guide a cross-functional team of product analysts, engineers, operations specialist and business partners in the delivery of solutions to scale Salesforce’s indirect business Author artifacts such as Product Requirement Documents to articulate the product vision, goals, objectives while being responsible for the end-to-end delivery of your product roadmap Proactively predict and minimize potential issues before they arise, and resolve those that do in a timely manner. Able to juggle multiple issues, set expectations, and prioritize accordingly. Assess difficult problems, weigh options through analysis of pros, cons, considerations, constraints and offer recommendations to move forward Effectively communicate at both the business and technical level (written and verbal) Collaborate with a geographically dispersed team and stakeholder with flexibility and excellent communication and presentation skills Conduct research with users and respond to questions that arise related to your product Autonomously navigate complex, ambiguous situations involving multiple cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in technology delivery including product management 4+ years of experience with Salesforce and/or equivalent CRM applications An understanding of techniques used in product discovery and product delivery such as the creation of a product vision, roadmap, elicitation of requirements, creation of user stories, prioritizing the scrum team’s backlog and documentation of as-is/to-be process flows A related technical degree required
Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies and the modern Product Operating Model Knowledge of partner business processes (Channel Ecosystems, Sales, Marketing, Service, Enablement, Support) Salesforce Experience Cloud, Salesforce Partner Relationship Management (PRM) and/or website design experience Experience supervising the work of others, including contingent or temporary staff
