Job Description - Product Manager Dripline
The Dripline Product Manager is responsible for the management of existing products and the development of new products to significantly grow sales and profits. The product manager is also responsible for product quality. The ideal candidate must be able to identify and analyze market opportunities, then create and execute projects to capitalize on those opportunities. Selected candidates will be smart, proactive, customer-oriented, results-driven product marketing professionals. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are also needed to manage project execution across various stakeholder groups.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

§ Develop and execute short and long-range product line strategies that achieve strong growth and profitability.
§ Respond to sales requests for information about product and pricing.
§ Work closely with Supply Chain and Sales to develop robust demand plans.
§ Prepare financial justifications and lead cross-functional teams through development and launch of new products.
§ Research business intelligence on competitors, customers, market trends and government regulations to develop positioning, pricing and growth strategies.
§ Working with the Marketing Manager and marketing communication resources, develop advertising, promotion, merchandising and marketing support materials to build sales and increase product awareness.
§ Manage product pricing and sales forecasting.
§ Oversee and support product quality management.
§ Deliver product line presentations to senior management, sales force and customers.
§ Travel to various regions in support of sales efforts, to attend industry events, to visit dealers and growers, and to perform in-field evaluations and/or troubleshooting (approx. 25%, up to 50% for the first six months)

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
: Undergraduate degree with an emphasis on agricultural engineering, agribusiness , or marketing. 5+ years of product management experience in a B2B manufacturing company, including new product development, successful new product launch, design and execution of product marketing plans, and product portfolio management. Experience marketing and/or selling products through distribution and into international markets.
:
· Experience with agricultural drip irrigation products.
· Understanding of the agricultural irrigation markets, products, growers, competitors, and distribution channel.
· Extensive project planning and management experience including stage gate development process. Strong interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous initiatives with changing priorities.
· Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project and Outlook
· Bilingual – English and Spanish

Pay: $98,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
