Overview

Verkada is looking for a driven, analytical Product Manager to join our Workplace team and help bring our industry-leading visitor management solution to every K-12 school in the United States. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to shape the product strategy and roadmap for our K-12 visitor management offering to help protect students and staff at schools. You own the success of our K-12 visitor management product.

Responsibilities

Partner with sales, customer success, and marketing to understand the needs of K-12 schools and identify opportunities to improve our visitor management product for this market
Conduct market analysis, customer interviews, and user research to gather insights into customer pain points and unmet needs
Synthesize findings into actionable product requirements, user stories, and priorities
Create and maintain product documentation including PRDs, user flows, roadmaps, and requirements
Work with engineering team to guide development of new features and enhancements
Develop go-to-market plans and messaging for new K-12 product capabilities
Track and report on K-12 product adoption, engagement, and customer satisfaction metrics
Represent the voice of the customer and shape the product strategy to drive growth in the K-12 market

Requirements

1-3 years experience in product management, preferably in SaaS
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar quantitative field. MS, PhD, or MBA optional
Strong technical understanding, ability to establish credibility with engineers and customers alike
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and dig into data
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams
Experience selling enterprise products

Pay Disclosure

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. This estimate is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

$90,000—$200,000 USD
