Convert customer and market insight into core marketing briefs and strategic marketing plans that drive successful lead generation and product launch campaigns.
Develop a strong understanding of customer needs within the sample storage systems (ambient, ultra-cold, and cryogenic) market segment and associated services, through direct customer contact and primary and secondary research.
Develop, implement, and own company-wide go-to-market plans for new products and work with all departments for execution of those plans.
Work with Product Management, Sales, and Regional Marketing to develop accurate marketing personas, effective customer segmentation strategies, insightful buyer journeys, and useful value propositions and market-relevant key messages.
Work with business leaders and stakeholders to define pricing strategy, product positioning, and differentiation.
Work with marketing communications to develop content and strategies for outbound communication and sales collateral.
Collaborate with content writers, branding and public relations, collateral design, and search engine optimization experts to ensure that campaign tactics match market segment needs.
Partner with digital marketing, marketing automation, and web development experts to ensure that marketing campaigns are executed well and in a timely fashion.
Monitor the success of marketing campaigns by using advanced digital tagging and metrics to ensure that key performance indicators are met, and campaigns demonstrate a positive return on investment.
Analyze market trends in cryogenic storage products, along with services, and characterize the competitive landscape to identify target markets and develop lead generation strategies for the Azenta automated and high-efficiency cryogenic storage products.

A bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Marketing, Business Administration, or a scientific field, and 2 years of experience in a product marketing role in the life sciences industry.
Experience must include the following, which may be gained concurrently:
2 years of experience performing operational or marketing processes in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry. 2 years of experience marketing genomics workflows and associated sample management products and services. 2 years of experience in marketing or product management including participating in market analysis, planning, and new product development. 2 years of experience creating and analyzing customer surveys for VoC initiatives, and customer journey mapping to guide business, sales, and brand strategy. 2 years of experience supporting product launches for life sciences products, including proofreading technical documents and collaborating with R&D and design teams. 2 years of experience in tactical/content-based marketing in the life sciences field. 2 years of experience using data driven approaches to segment decision making.
