Product Marketing SpecialistLocation: Dunbridge, OH
Position Summary:
The Product Marketing Specialist serves as the commercial bridge between Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience, and Ecommerce to ensure products are successfully positioned, launched, and adopted in the marketplace. This role is responsible for translating product strategies into compelling customer value propositions, developing go-to-market plans, creating sales enablement tools, and monitoring product performance after launch. This position will primarily support the Tranquility incontinence portfolio (approximately 95%) while providing limited support for the Pillow Paws footwear business (approximately 5%). The role plays a critical part in improving product commercialization, accelerating market adoption, and ensuring customer and market insights are incorporated into future product decisions.
What You'll Do:
Product Content & Positioning
- Develop and manage product descriptions and core product content, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timely updates across all marketing materials, distributor platforms, ecommerce channels, and internal documentation
- Advance product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that differentiate products in the marketplace
Go-to-Market & Launch
- Lead execution of go-to-market plans for new products, product enhancements, and portfolio initiatives
- Coordinate launch readiness activities, ensuring products, tools, communications, and training are prepared for successful market introduction
- Monitor launch performance, adoption trends, and commercial results with Product Management to identify opportunities for improvement
Sales Enablement & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Create sales enablement materials including sell sheets, presentations, FAQs, training tools, and competitive comparisons
- Serve as the commercial bridge between Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Clinical, Customer Experience, and Ecommerce teams
- Partner with Audience Strategy and Channel Marketing teams to develop customer and channel-specific activation plans
Customer & Market Insights
- Gather and synthesize Voice of Customer (VOC), customer feedback, reviews, complaints, and field insights to inform commercialization strategies
- Analyze competitive activity, market trends, and portfolio performance to support product growth and strategic decision making
- Support ongoing portfolio optimization efforts by recommending actions that improve product adoption, customer satisfaction, and business performance
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, product management, business, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in product marketing, category management, product management, sales enablement, or related commercial functions
- Experience supporting product launches, commercialization efforts, or go-to-market initiatives
- Demonstrated success managing creative development, digital experiences, agency relationships, and marketing programs
- Strong ability to develop product messaging, positioning, and customer-facing content
- Experience managing multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional skills
- Ability to analyze market trends, competitive information, customer feedback, and business performance data
- Strong written and presentation skills
- Experience within healthcare, consumer products, manufacturing, ecommerce, or regulated industries preferred
- Experience supporting sales organizations through training, communications, or sales enablement programs preferred
- Familiarity with VOC programs, competitive intelligence, and market research methodologies a plus
- Experience across VA, Medicaid, Ecommerce, LTC, DME, and Homecare channels preferred
