The Product Officer supports the team in understanding business problem statements converting them into user stories and assessing customer and business requirements â consolidating views from regulators, market experts, sales, and top-tier financial institutions. Applies agile methods and processes to promote a disciplined project management process that encourages frequent inspection and adaptation of ongoing work products.
The Product Officer's responsibilities:
Provides product support to the Client Success Team during their onboarding processes and with their daily client support activities.
Provides product support to the Business Development Managers and participates in client demonstrations when required.
Participates in discovery sessions with stakeholders to ensure a clear definition of product requirements.
Ensures the usability, quality and delivery of a feature and the product as a whole.
Stays up to date with the regulatory reporting requirements per regime by reviewing regulations, newsletters, guidelines and Q&A published by the relevant regulators, trade repositories and trade associations.
Assists clients with any questions or queries they may have regarding the regulatory reporting regulations.
Assists with the content preparation and publishing of relevant articles for the company's website.
Analyze and understand the needs and priorities to build a better product.
Requirements
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Informatics, Engineering,
Mathematics or another related field.
At least 2 years of experience in the financial services industry ideally with a middle/back office or regulatory reporting background.
Knowledge of trade and transaction reporting (EMIR MiFIR, SFTR etc.) and a good understanding of the reporting regulations per regime.
Knowledge of Cash Equity, Derivatives, and Security markets.
SQL / Data experience is highly beneficial.
Technical literacy and an ability to communicate these concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in delivering client-facing products.
Experience in working within a fast-paced, agile environment.
Experience in managing successful delivery through a mix of roles and skills.
