Product Packaging Associate

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking dynamic, hard-working professionals with a solid work background in Warehousing, and a desire to work for a fast-paced organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Committed to safety at all times. Handle packaged refrigerant, empty metal cylinders and misc. items in a safe manner. Comply with all DOT regulations pertaining to cylinder handling. Abide by OSHA, DOT and workplace safety regulations. Work in a warehouse preparing orders to Receive or Ship. Aid and assist all aspects of the facility as required. Operate forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment Maintain neat, clean and orderly plant appearance. Warehouse Associates will need to be able to move up to 70 pounds and be able to work in a fast paced Must have outstanding work performance, attitude and ethics at all times. Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time throughout the work shift. Maintaining inventory and cycle counts in relation to stocking items. Previous experience with bar code scanner. Must have good organizational skills. Ability to work independently or as a part of team.

EXPERIENCE: In working with hazardous / non hazardous material. Experience with compressed gases. Ability to communicate in standard business style and grammar. Ability to work in different areas as needed.

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets SDSs. Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines. Must be able to work with a wide variety or people with different personalities and backgrounds. Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace. Knowledge and awareness of hazards associated with refrigerant handling. Use of hand tools. Experience with hoses and fittings. Knowledge of pressurized tanks.

Ability to perform functions during occasional climbing, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling and finger activities. Must be able to work outdoors and in temperatures ranging from 20 to 100 degrees F.
