Product Partnerships Lead

About the Role: 

We are seeking a Partnerships / BD Generalist with a strong background in consumer partnerships to join our dynamic team. This role requires a blend of strategic vision and practical execution, capable of managing programmatic partnerships and diving deep into negotiations with key partners. You will collaborate extensively across product and research teams, contributing to both strategy and the operational aspects of partnerships.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and manage a broad range of programmatic partnerships, as well as negotiate and close deals with key strategic partners.

• Work closely with product and research teams to align partnership opportunities with OpenAI’s strategic goals.

• Drive the strategy and execution of partnership agreements from inception through to post-deal relationship management.

• Evaluate and track the impact of partnerships, ensuring they contribute significantly to OpenAI’s objectives.

• Serve as a cross-functional leader to bridge the needs and capabilities of various internal teams with external partners.

You might thrive in this role if you: 

• 8+ years of experience in consumer product partnerships, BD, platform, or product roles

• Experience at fast-paced, rapidly scaling technology companies

• Demonstrated track record of managing significant consumer partnerships or programs that drove substantial impact

• Strong ability to structure, negotiate, and execute complex agreements

• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.

• Product or eng experience is preferred
