Product Sample Specialist

It is an exciting time to join our team!  Pure's Food Specialties is a fast paced, growing manufacturer of specialty baked snack products that include cookies and crackers to name a few.  Our facilities use state of the art equipment in the high-speed production.  We continue to expand our portfolio with new products.  

JOB PURPOSE

This position works between the marketing and manufacturing teams to pull samples for a variety of needs. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

· Assemble and spec samples from the sales team and customers to review and compare with quality and performance standards

· Partner with onsite warehouse to order and ship samples to customers

· Maintain status and tracking on current customer specific product development projects

· Frequently perform field data and sample gathering

· Attend meetings and tradeshows as needed to assist in set-up, show meetings and tear-down 

· Other duties as needed or designed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Highschool diploma or GED certificate preferred 

· Ability to communicate and read labels in English, Bilingual language in Spanish preferred

· Must possess strong   organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work for self and others   in a deadline driven environment

· Basic math skills required for pulling and sorting products

· Proficient in MS Suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

· Must be able to understand and follow FDA guidelines and company policies. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position works in a manufacturing facility and   requires standing, bending, climbing or walking 75% of the time 

· Must frequently twist, bend, and   stoop when performing work tasks

· Frequently lifting 25 pounds, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs., may be an assisted lift if needed

TRAVEL REQUIRED

· This position may travel between different manufacturing facilities as needed, all located within 30 min of each other and may need to be at more than one facility in the same day

· No overnight travel is required
