Salary Range

: $57,900 - $86,900 Annual

Job Details

The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location. This position is bonus eligible.

Product Development Department

is hiring a

Product Specialist (Worksite)

to hold responsibility for various aspects of product development and enforce product management of one (or more) of CNO’s life and supplemental health product lines. The Product Specialist will provide product support to various internal departments and will offer on-going product support (training, marketing materials, ad hoc inquiries) to the field organization. The role will leverage technical product skills to inform the design and delivery of our product development.

As a

Product Specialist (Worksite),

your responsibilities will include:

Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for one (or more) of CNO’s life, health, and annuity product lines.

In partnership with the Dir, Prod Dev Process Improvement, formulates and implements a product line strategy.

Actively contributes to the product development process – from ideation to implementation – engaging with various stakeholders across the organization.

Provides product management support to our field force to educate and train on new product ideas, sales concepts, and illustrations.

As a primary point of contact, fields product specific inquiries from business partners within CNO.

Conducts training seminars for field organization on new and existing products.

Stays abreast of the competition, marketplace, and industry trends.

Makes recommendations based on data analysis and insights, to help product design, delivery, and promotion.

Develops product marketing and training materials for new products and manages sales and marketing materials of existing products to ensure content is correct and available.

The Product Specialist (Worksite) position

is well-suited for you if you:

Have strong communication skills including written and oral communication.

Clearly communicate to all levels of the organization.

Are strong at problem-solving.

Possess an outstanding understanding of insurance products, sales concepts, and distribution.

Balance multiple high-priority projects; must be detail-oriented and organized.

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field, or eight years of equivalent experience work experience.

Two years of insurance industry experience.

At least one year of Product Development experience.

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint).

What will set you apart:

Product Development or Product Management professional experience within Supplemental Health products.

Working knowledge of supplemental health and/or life insurance products.

Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.

Associates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Orlando and Milwaukee) may perform this role full-time work from home (WFH) from any US based location, as long as you are willing to work central or eastern time zone hours.

All associates may be asked to travel to varying corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
