Our Product Support and Customer Service Representative position interacts with customers to order products, supplies and coordinate orders with vendors to assure accuracy, best value and timely delivery. This person is expected to provide the highest level of customer service while greeting and assisting clients. In addition, this person will also perform all needed duties in the areas of the Laboratory, Pharmacy, and Shipping Department as needed.
Primary Hours
Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Other hours upon request.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Create Sales Orders for phone and walk-in clients, perform drop ship orders and invoicing of in-house orders.
• Research and obtain competitive pricing on all inventory items. Communicate with distributors and industry partners as needed to ensure the most recent knowledge of products and the highest quality of customer service for our clients
• Maintain organization of inventory. This includes ordering, shipping and receiving inventory items, as well as, conducting a monthly inventory and ensuring accuracy.
• Process lab samples and submit to the appropriate lab. Set up and process in-house lab procedures (i.e. bacteriology), and report results to appropriate parties. Maintain lab results as official patient medical records.
• Maintain proper record of client communications, including orders placed to ensure accurate and timely resolve in the event inaccuracies occur.
• Answer and route phone calls in a timely manner.
• Order office supplies and maintain office equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean work environment; student room, office, front drop off area and take biosecurity measures to ensure the highest quality for our clients.
• Maintain a team environment with co-workers allowing strong interpersonal communication and cross-training of office duties.
• Maintain a professional image for the company at all times.
• Capable of prioritizing work accordingly.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Other duties and special projects as requested.
Skills Required
• Must have good organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Strong sense of customer service required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Strong attention to detail required
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
Experience Required
• Experience with multi-line phones required
• Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required
• QuickBooks experience preferred, but not required
