Product Testing Lead

We’re a fast-growing company in the cosmetics and nutrition industry, expanding our portfolio with innovative products for the Amazon marketplace. We’re seeking a Test Lead to build and lead our product testing framework, ensuring every item meets the highest quality standards before launch.

Role Overview
As Test Lead, you’ll be responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive testing system from scratch. You will collaborate with R&D, product management, logistics, and formulation teams to validate every product through structured manual testing, sensory panels, and consumer research. This is a critical role ensuring product quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build the testing system from scratch: design protocols, processes, and infrastructure for consumer and sensory testing
• Develop research methodology: create questionnaires, interview guides, and apply quantitative/qualitative testing methods
• Manage target audience segmentation: build and maintain respondent databases, recruit test participants, and ensure valid testing panels
• Oversee sample management: track, label, and store 150–200+ samples, ensuring proper conditions and timing
• Conduct and coordinate interviews: ensure unbiased feedback collection, accurate recording, and insight generation
• Analyze and report data: identify patterns and provide actionable recommendations for formula, scent, and packaging improvements
• Ensure digital workflow discipline: maintain structured archives of all test data, templates, and reports
• Collaborate with R&D Director: align on test plans, report findings, and support decision-making on product development

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in product testing, sensory evaluation, or QA in the cosmetics, nutrition, or FMCG sectors
• Strong understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
• Hands-on experience with test panel organization, respondent management, and sample logistics
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to build systems from the ground up
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for ensuring top-quality products reach the market
