The position is currently based in Greensboro. In the upcoming months, we are moving to a new facility in Burlington, and that is where this position will be based.
Join a rapidly growing division of an established company, where organization, efficiency, and attention to detail keep production moving. This role is central to ensuring that materials, schedules, and systems all align to deliver successful projects on time. As the Production Administrator, you’ll be the go-to expert for our production ERP system and a key link between vendors, engineering, warehouse, and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate customer quotes within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy in materials, labor, and routing
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain accurate material pricing and manage purchase orders
• Track material status and proactively resolve issues that could impact the production schedule
• Enter, maintain, and oversee data in the new production ERP system as a designated superuser
• Administer ERP processes for inventory, purchasing, and scheduling, working closely with warehouse and production teams
• Ensure process completion by verifying jobs are shipped, invoiced, and properly closed out
• Collaborate with the engineering and design team to confirm correct material specifications and job routings
• Act as the ERP subject-matter expert to support cross-department workflows and efficiency
Qualifications:
Must Have:
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis, reporting)
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Clear communication skills for working across teams and with external vendors
Preferred:
• College degree (business, operations, or related field)
• Experience with production workflows or ERP systems
• Technical knowledge of electrical systems (a plus, but not required)
