Production Artist

*This position is based out of our Anchorage, AK office and will work a hybrid schedule.*

Position summary:
This position uses artistic knowledge and skills to complete and perfect the finished design product by retouching photographs and setting print type. Lay out and draws illustrations for reproduction in reference works, brochures, etc.

key Responsibilities:

Make updates/changes to existing print advertising, collateral material and digital advertising materials for both internal and external clients.

• Ability to effectively develop and implement creative solutions for a variety of existing materials in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Ensures designs follow client brand guidelines.
• Assist in preparing materials necessary for client presentations.
• Serves as a positive role model by representing Spawn’s Core Values.
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

• General understanding of print production process
• Macintosh operating system proficient
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite
• Expert in industry standard printing practices and file prepping
• Ability to prioritize work assignments and meet deadlines
• Communicates well with other department members and supervisors

Education and experience

• Education – Associate’s Degree required.
• Experience – Minimum of 2 years graphic design experience.
• Certifications, Licenses, Associations, etc. – N/A.

Hearing: Able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers, vendors, and clients, in person and on phone
Other: Able to lift at least 10 pounds and mobile enough to change paper in computer printers, must have a valid driver’s license and access to personal transportation
